Services Advance at Glen on Fifth Sunday Preparations Begin
Last week at Glen services were held for Rev. Tucker and Rev. Richmond as preparations began for three weeks of preaching on the fifth Sunday of the month. The Woman’s Missionary Society met for a Mission Study class and invited Royal Ambassadors on a mountain trip. a group listed included Dorothy Smith, Mildred Smith, Helen Humes, Vivian Lee, Ruth Crawford, and many others.

About twenty guests attended and Mah Jongg was played. Birthday dinner at Hollar marked Mrs Ritchie’s birthday with red and green decor and a cake of 37 candles. Many friends from Fulks Run Linville Cherry Grove Harrisonburg Steele Tavern and nearby towns attended.
