Miss Margaret Moffitt daughter of Dr and Mrs E L Moffitt of Ashboro N G arrives in Harrisonburg to visit Mrs J K Huebush and will attend the Washington inauguration. Several family and friend gatherings follow with travelers from Brandywine W Va Winchester Baltimore Covington Staunton and Newport News among others.
Winchester district fruit growers fear warmer than normal temperatures will delay sap activity and trigger early budding. They recall freezes in 1921 and 1923 that halted blooms, hoping for a return to colder weather to slow premature growth ahead of May blossoms.

Orlando authorities dredge Lake Lancaster near the city in search of A. K. Brundage who has been missing since Wednesday. Brundage had been dredging near his property and his machine stood idle for days. Police believe he was drowned.
L A Dickenson who had been with Hawkins Hardware Co resigns and today joins Coiner Burns Furniture Co as a new member of the firm.

In Rockingham County Circuit Court on February 28 1925 Valley Supply Co. sues Roy E. Raines and others for $500 with interest from May 6 1924 and costs. Attachments issued on stock at Raines Stores Island Ford Rocky Bar and on farm granary.
