Flood victim identified in Fairfax County death toll rises
In Fairfax County Virginia the death toll from Tropical Storm Agnes floods climbs to at least 18 with the identification of Michael Dennis Roby 34 of Great Falls as the latest victim. Roby was last seen June 21 and his car found June 22 on Georgetown Pike near Difficult Run where the body was recovered.

Agnew Plans Virginia Visit on Flood Relief Effort
Vice President Spiro T. Agnew will fly to Richmond for a 1 hour 15 minute briefing with officials on speeding disaster relief to Virginia flood areas. The White House and Gov. Linwood Holton's office announced the schedule as Agnew tours Elmira, Ellicott City, and Richmond seeking to cut red tape and ensure federal cooperation. A one stop disaster center was opened in Richmond and aid funds totaling at least 92.5 million for next fiscal year were outlined, with potential increases to 300 million depending on further surveys.
