In Grand Canyon National Park rafting capsized leaving one dead and 15 injured while 90 have fallen from rafts in recent days. Authorities warn of rising waters with more flooding likely.
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation weighs options to fix the unsafe Jackson Lake Dam at Grand Teton National Park. Proposals include a downstream dam flooding 2000 acres of parkland or rebuilding at present site, with costs from 23 to 50 million dollars and broad local and state debate.
