Dad Pleads Insanity In Slaying Of Twins
Malcolm Duane Williams, 26, pleaded innocent by reason of insanity to charges he beat his 22 month old twin sons to death with a rock and left their bodies in a cross shape. He also faces attempted murder charges for wounding his 3 year old son, Duane. Investigators say the killings occurred May 20 in an alley near their grandmother’s home. Lamar and Jamar died two days later. The state mental hospital will evaluate him.

Presbyterians Approve Full Communion Push With Lutherans
In 1910 some Protestants sought ecumenism to reverse separation. The Presbyterians voted 173 congregations on full communion with Lutherans, while the 1997 Lutheran assembly rejected Episcopal full communion.
