Miss Harris Weds Leroy Dwight Bowman in Staunton
Miss Jacqueline Estelle Harris, daughter of Mr and Mrs Sidney Harris of Staunton, wed Leroy Dwight Bowman Jr son of Mr and Mrs Bowman of Staunton in the Lewis Street Church of the Brethren Staunton. The double ring ceremony featured a palms and lilies setting with music by Miss Betty Miller and W A Hill Jr. The bride wore a white net over taffeta gown with lace bolero and pearl necklace. Attendants included maid of honor Patricia Critzer and sister Carolyn Harris. Best man was Robert Hamilton Bowman with Roland Harris and Robert Brown as groomsmen. Immediate reception followed at the bride’s parents home. After a short wedding trip they will reside with the groom’s parents at 1521 North Augusta Staunton. The bride is a Rob ert E Lee High School graduate and works at Planters Bank. the groom is Augusta Military Academy and Bridgewater College alumnus and works for the Virginia Department of Highways.
