Edinburg reports the death of Howard Campbell 30 in Columbus Ohio yesterday. He was the son of Joseph Campbell a longtime Shenandoah county figure known for his civic gifts to Edinburg and surrounding communities. Howard was widely remembered by Edinburg residents who mourn his loss.

Miss Arabella G Brown age 14 of Grottoes died at Rockingham Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness due to complications. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm from Deputy Sheriff Frank Newman’s home conducted by Rev Phipps of the Presbyterian Church. Interment Mt Horeb Church Cemetery. She is survived by two brothers J F Brown of Salem and R E Brown of Grottoes.
