Murdered Man Found On Road Near Stanley
The body of 33 year old Page County man Earl Haskell Smelser was found along Va 221 in Basin Hollow southeast of Stanley. Authorities say the death was a murder caused by a punctured abdominal artery after a bullet entered his torso.
