Linville Creek Old Folks Singing Draws Large Turnout
The Annual Old Folks Singing at Linville Creek Church of the Brethren near Broadway opened with Rev. J. W. Miller leading several hymns and Rev. A S B Burkholder guiding devotion. S. R. Cline was elected moderator and I A Zigler secretary with 75 plus attendees and 12 elders over 75. A noon lunch was served in picnic fashion and guests included missionaries Mrs. Wagoner from India. Thirty three songs three anthems and two quartets were performed with the Tusing Quartet from Timb visible and Broadway. The program featured leaders from Rockingham and Shenandoah counties and closed with final prayers.
