The Virginia ABC Board completed the purchase of a 31 710 square foot area at the southeast corner of North Main and East Gay streets from the Harrisonburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority for 21710 dollars. The deed was recorded in Rockingham clerk's office. The Authority has sold seven residential lots and Valley Plaza Inc. has optioned the remaining 100 acres for 500000 dollars.
