Six Months On Theft Count In Court Here
Billy Bodkin Lee of Mt. Crawford was found guilty of petty larceny by a Rockingham circuit court jury and sentenced to six months. Former Douglas Pearce Inc employee accused of embezzling $16.15 from a sale proceeds. Warrant shows second petty larceny charge. Trial spanned three days from May 25 to yesterday. Lee previously found guilty in County Court in January with a 30 day sentence and $50 fine. T. Warren Messick of Roanoke and Harry Blatt assisted in the defense and Commonwealth's Attorney Charles E. Earman Jr. led the prosecution.
