Neff reports that a new 400 foot bridge will replace the current span and widening will extend along Cantrell Avenue from Reservoir Street to Mountain View Drive. One Reservoir Street lane stays open except for a 10 month January closure. Completion set for November 1 1999 for the bridge and December 10 1999 for the widening. The Virginia Department of Transportation will pay about 1 million of the 2.9 million bridge cost and share maintenance. Actor Bob Denver was arrested in Princeton West Virginia on a marijuana possession charge after a package containing about 10 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was found at his home.
