Bridgewater College will award 95 graduates for the Class of 1962 with 15 August graduates. Distinguished alumni honors go to Dr. Paul Hoover Bowman and Rev. Samuel A. Harley. National Education Assn official Lawrence Derthick will speak at 3 p.m. Sunday. Alumni Day events start with golf at 9 a.m. and conclude with a Musicale at 8:15 p.m. Three hundred alumni are expected from across the U.S. The Baccalaureate Sermon will be preached at 11 p.m. on Sunday by President Warren D. Bowman.

Three U.S. missionaries kidnapped near Saigon by Viet Cong
Vietnamese army units hunted a strong Communist guerrilla band after they raided a leper colony 150 miles northeast of Saigon and abducted three American missionaries. The victims are A. E. Mitchll of Ellensburg Washington Danie Gerber of Dalton Ohio and Dr Eleanor Vietti of Houston Texas. The Rev Thomas Mangham said this is the first molestation of their Christian and Missionary Alliance group which runs the camp.

Adolf Eichmann was hanged in Ramleh Prison near Tel Aviv after Israel upheld the death sentence for crimes against humanity. His body was cremated at sea and scattered in the Mediterranean. CHARLOTTESVILLE AP An Albemarle County teenager was injured Thursday afternoon when struck by lightning while mowing the yard near here. Meredith Thomas Bickers Jr., 17, was found unconscious along U.S. 290 East about 2 15 p.m. and rushed to the University of Virginia Hospital by the Albemarle Rescue Squad. His condition was described as satisfactory Thursday night and doctors expected release Friday.

Campbell Co Jury Acquits Man Of Blue Law Violation
Campbell County jury acquitted W H Woolridge, operator of Woolridge's Greenhouse, of Sunday blue law violation after deliberating about two hours. The case centered on selling plants on May 6 with judge urging study of the word necessity. Woolridge testified all plants are grown on his property and Sunday sales served distant customers as a necessity and convenience.
