The Turner Ashby Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy met at Miss Elizabeth and Miss Georgia Nicholas home on May 30. Miss Maxwell resigned as president, read and accepted with regret. A Sons of Veterans representation spoke on memorializing Ty Williamson. Sixteen Daughters attended along with several Sons of Veterans and one Confederate veteran.
