Witness recalls night of dragged shower and deadly gunfire

Neil Flick testified in Rockingham County Circuit Court about August 29 1997 when he was dragged from a shower tied to a chair and forced to witness the murder of Emmanuel Kingsley-Ibeh during an alleged botched robbery. Virginia Road Funds Highway study dispute grows

Bush Meets Clinton in Oval Office Talks

President-elect Bush met with President Clinton in the Oval Office to hear warnings about global problems and to receive advice. Clinton urged Bush to assemble a strong team and follow his own judgment as Bush prepares to take office on January 20. Firefighter Charity Collects Much Gives Little

Edna Mitchell balked at donating to the Association for Disabled Firefighters Inc. Yet donations to the Santa Ana nonprofit topped 1.7 million last year while only 11 thousand went to charitable causes.
