James Timmons a Pennsylvanian Railroad passenger solicitor ends forty one years of service today. He aided troop movements during war times and oversaw Carlisle Indians transport for twenty two seasons. Born Auburn New York August 9 1848 he joined the railroad after serving in the Civil War era and began as a newspaper seller and office boy for Union officers.
