The Central Pennsylvania Association of Life Underwriters aimed to double its membership by September, with only eleven members needed to reach the goal. At the Engineers' Society, John T. Shirley announced progress after a banquet with songs and solos, and A A Wert recounted the early history of the organization. Speakers urged prepared planning and intelligent work in selling life insurance, while F L Wright urged ethics and respect for the profession. Guests from Harrisburg and other cities attended, and a new outing committee was announced for August to Inglenook.
