State Workmen's Compensation Board reverses widow claim

In the Helen Bryant Boone case from Milford Delaware the board rules a separated wife cannot claim compensation for her husband's death. The referee had awarded the widow and child, noting support from 1913 to 1914 and death in 1916. The board finds the widow abandoned dependency before death, making dependency a fact, not a legal right. The minor child's award is modified.
