Four Men Injured in Pubic Station Explosion Near Waynesburg
Four men were seriously injured when a pumping station of Manufacturers' Light and Heat Company, one mile from Waynesburg Pennsylvania, exploded early today. John Spicer, in charge, was hurled fifty feet and found dying two hours later. Pumps were wrecked and gas flames shot a hundred feet high. The station served as the main pumping point on the line from West Virginia natural gas fields to Pittsburgh.
