Captain Parfet and Son Killed in Auto Crash
Captain R. Walter Parfet and his son were killed yesterday in an automobile crash on Massachusetts avenue near Forty-eighth street in Washington while returning from church. Mrs. Parfet and a daughter Mabel Parfet were seriously injured. Mrs. Parfet is the daughter of Colonel G. W. Simmers, formerly a resident here, now an accountant in Washington. A brother of Mrs. Parfet, H. M. Simmers, lives at 814 North Third street, Harrisburg. She was formerly Miss Mary Simmers and is well known in this city. Colonel Simmers is ill at his apartment.
