Mrs Zelma Little of Camp Wood visited sisters Mrs C N Taylor and family over the weekend. Father Enda McKenna officiated a marriage with Rev James A Wright. Lynn Parker recovers well from an accident and spent time with wife Karen and his parents. Further visits include the Lennons, Russell family, Miss Wilimae Kaiser, Mrs Marvin Kramer illness, and multiple family gatherings with the Rhierschwale, Fleetwood, and Boatright circles in the region.
Visiting pairs include Mr and Mrs Weldon Walker and Tommy with Brandenbergers of Llano and Cuero relatives, Mr and Mrs Tommy Skipper in San Antonio, and Mrs Lydia Bierschwale at A Barker home. Crane visitor Gregory Parker and family, Rieger in Corpus Christi, Wilke in Harper, Blumberg in San Antonio, and Mrs Marvin Kramer ill at Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
San Antonio will back a three year Alcohol Safety Action Project funded by the U S Department of Transportation and a new Alcoholic Treatment Center at Avenue E and Sixth Street. The project includes DWI patrol cars breathalyzer equipment extra prosecutors and jail support while the center links with local hospitals and agencies to treat alcohol dependence.
