Women division to start Bolivia mission in 1956

The Women’s Division of the Chris Wan Service, part of the Methodist Church, plans missionary work in Bolivia in 1956, focusing on education for women and girls and nursing. The division has served Bolivia for over 50 years and will send first missionaries to expand educational and health programs.

Weekend visits across families in central Texas

Clyde Floyd of Baytown visited his mother Mrs F M Floyd and sister Miss Francis Floyd over the weekend. Other visitors included Mrs Clyde Cook and son Clyde Jr of Fredericksburg. The Moellendorfs from Doss and Armand Crenwelge and son from Fredericksburg also visited. Mrs Wille Meter of Ingram spent time with her daughter Mrs Orville Behrens. Word arrived Wednesday of the death of Mrs Fred Whetstone in a Fredericksburg hospital. funeral services are pending.
