Dearborn October 9 Ford announces forty important improvements across the 1940 line of V-8 trucks and commercial cars. The update adds forty-two body and chassis types, six wheel bases and three V-8 engines, introducing Sealed-Beam headlamps, larger battery and generator, redesigned hood and access features, Shiftoguide speedometer, and enhanced comfort and serviceability across chassis and body components.
