Gillespie County Court OKs Airport Zoning in September Session
Gillespie Commissioners Court approved airport zoning regulations proposed by the Airport Zoning Committee. The rules cover a 2% mile hazard area, height limits on trees and structures, and bans on land use that could cause radio interference or glare. A five member board of adjustment may be appointed to hear appeals. The court also moved a heating system nuisance site, updated polling places, appointed election officials, and discussed a new Eckert to Crabapple road. Financials were reported for county funds and airport accounts.
