October Rainfall Superior Across Gillespie County

October rainfall across Gillespie County exceeded the monthly average and topped six years of records. Alfred Neffendorf reports a total of 6.05 inches in October, up from 5.43 last year, with historical figures of 3.53 in 1940 and 3.88 in 1939. Temperature highs reached 87 on October 2, while lows touched 41 on the 26th and 31st.
