CAN CANYON FOOTBALL, AS I SEE IT
Harry Wahrmun writes that Gillespie County football fans saw losses across three local teams. He predicts the Billie Coyote game would have shifted with first string play, praises the Uvalde squad’s long-time cohesion, and forecasts a state title run. He expects the Coyotes to beat Billies by 14 points and Indians to prevail despite rain, with Harper and the Longhorns jostling in district contention.
