Twelve Apostles of Athela and other Cold War sketches
The piece lists twelve Soviet Politburo figures with blunt character sketches including Molotov as insincere and Beria as barbarous, followed by Alfred Kohlberg’s questions to Congress about wartime armament destructions. It notes a surge of “National This” and “National That” weeks and proposes a mock “Nobody-Need-Observe-It-Believe-It-Or-Not Week,” then mentions local visitors and attendance at a Wool Show.
