Mr and Mrs J A Milam spent Saturday with family. Mrs Walter Parker and Joe visited in Junction Saturday. Mr and Mrs Walter Parker Jr and Jim are in Japan adjusting to a new residence. Charles Coffey stopped in Noxville on return from Junction and visited J A Milam and Garland. J H Parker made a business trip to town. Henry Bierschwale of Rocksprings is slowly recovering from a stroke. Marshall Brown of Junction visited Fred Whetstone’s family over the weekend. Jet Parker and children visited Jess F Parker. Earl Baker and E J of Kerrville were guests of Jess F Parker. First day of spring but cold and windy with no rain yet. Readers hope for rain soon. Mrs J H Parker attended Pentecostal services at Harper. Raymond Parker and family are visiting her parents and helping with goat shearings.

Members sang, read Luke 10 25 37, and prayed as they emphasized community missions, with pennants on display and a calendar prayer for a missionary. The G A s and Sunbeams held companion programs for Annie Armstrong Day and Offering, finishing a mission study booklet Beyond the Desert, with refreshments served to all groups.
Pastor D W Brown invites the community to Sunday School at 10 a m preaching at 11 a m and 8 p m with Training Union at 7 p m WMU GA Sunbeams and Brotherhood meet on the second and fourth Wednesday nights Youth Fellowship follows the evening sermon on the second and fourth Sundays All boys and girls ages 9 to 21 are invited.
The Harper Presbyterian Church invites visitors to Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. followed by Holy Communion. Dr. Paul J. Schwab is the pastor. Visitors are always welcome to worship with us.
