Valentine Party and Senior Year Highlights
The High School held a Valentine party for seventh and eighth graders with music by the High School Band. Donnie Phillips and Ola Mae Itz were elected Valentine King and Queen. San Antonio’s seventh annual livestock exposition and rodeo closed with record figures. About 5 000 head of livestock entered and 100 000 rodeo attendees plus 300 000 grounds visitors marked a peak. total fat stock auctions reached 77 835 dollars from 177 steers and 20 098 dollars from 361 boys swine, with notable champion sales from St Anthony Hotel and Lone Star Brewing Co. through the event.
