Why Mooney Aircraft Stays Put in Kerrville
In the Texas Parade March 1963 story Mooney Aircraft chooses Kerrville Texas for expansion overriding Kansas roots. Favorable climate skilled local labor and access to raw materials helped the company grow from a 1953 move to a broader plant expansion with plans for more single engine four seat airplanes and more jobs in Central Texas.
