Funeral Rites Held For Rev Francis Ledwig In San Antonio
Final rites for Rev Francis J Ledwig 58 of San Antonio were conducted at San Fernando Cathedral after a solemn mass of requiem. He served as a Navy chaplain 1917 to 1919 and held pastorates in Gillespie County Fredericksburg and Harper. Survived by two brothers and a sister, he was a noted speaker in the area and had substituted at St Anthony Church in Harper in 1945.
