A late 19th or early 20th century notice announces a painting presentation for former District Judge Moursund. The event is scheduled Monday evening at the Gib lespie County Courthouse with invitations extended to the Gallespie County community and the public to attend.
A July 20 event at Park Bier Garten aims to revive early town merriment with a German style supper, sausage, potato salad, and homemade bread. The Gillespie County Historical Society leads a program of music, readings, and dances with performers and volunteers from local families and associations.
Catholic notices invite parishioners to Mass at 7:30 and 9 on Sunday July 29 with a patronal feast for St Ann's Society at 7:30 followed by a meeting. Weekday Masses are not scheduled. Reads warmly that all are welcome to attend prayers in the church.

CTEC was honored with the Texas Job Training Safety Program award for outstanding efforts in safety and program execution. The ceremony highlighted personnel, vehicles, and equipment deployed by the center for the year, noting total personnel and project expenditures.
