Fourth Annual Gil County Hunt and Jumper Show
The Fourth Annual Gil County Hunt and Jumper Show unfolds at the all Grounds Friday through Sunday with 33 classes across Open Jumper Green Jumper Regular Conformation and Working Hunter divisions. Birthplace of Lyndon B. Johnson Opens for Public Preview
Washington reporters view a month long public preview of the reconstructed Lyndon B. Johnson Birthplace near the Pedernales River. Mrs. Johnson attends, tours are led by Mrs. Weinheimer and Mrs. Hunter, and security closes the site when the President is in residence. The 1965 rebuilt house mirrors the Johnson family home from 1907 to 1913 with furnishings gathered by Mrs. Birge Alexander.
