Kerrville Prepares Festive July Fourth Arts Fair
Kerrville Texas hosts a Bicentennial Year arts and crafts fair with 200 vendors under 40 acres of tents plus a Pioneer Village. A three night Kerrville C and W Jamboree runs July 3 4 5 at Quiet Valley Ranch headlined by Mickey Gilley Jeanne Pruett Red Steagall and Roy Acuff Jr with Bill Staines and Jimmy Henley. Free concerts run daily at 1 p.m. and jamboree shows at 6 p.m.

Three-Day Fourth of July Races in Fredericksburg
Fredericksburg hosts a three day July 4th festival with thoroughbred and quarter horse races each afternoon at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds. The Merchants Derby opens the weekend followed by the Independence Derby on Sunday. Daily race starts are 2:00 p.m. with Malley Keller as judge Keith Keller starter and Jumbo Evans announcer. J. D.
