Anna Lee Bagget Brannon born March 3 1924 Stevens County Texas died January 4 1944 at Keldel Memorial Hospital aged 19 years 9 months 9 days married July 29 1940 to Chester M Brannon survived by husband Chester Jr parents Beckmann Funeral Home took body to Monday Texas for burial Thursday afternoon.
Robert P. Owen was born in Hays County on March 23, 1872 and died at home in Loyal Valley on December 26, 1943 at age 71 years 9 months 3 days. He married Amy Allen and their union produced ten children, six surviving along with 20 grandchildren. Rev. L H Billings conducted funeral services on December 27 and burial followed in Loyal Valley Cemetery.

Cornehl born February 12 1887 in Gillespie County son of Adolf and Marie Stocf died January 9 1944 aged 56 years 10 months 27 days married October 14 1919 to Elfrieda Mosel survived by three children Adolf Vera and Nora Cornell two brothers Otto and Paul Cornell a stepsister Mrs Robert Rahe and other relatives Rev G A Poclmann conducted funeral services at Beckmann's Funeral Home Louis Jordan Post American Legion accorded final honors interment in City Cemetery
William L. Weirich born December 19 1854 in Fredericksburg died January 1944 at 89. He lived on a Live Oak farm his whole life. He directed the Ger mania singing club for 42 years and helped found the County Singing organization. He married Theresa Kleck on January 10 1885. Survived by four sons Arthur Max Arwin Wilhelm Richard three daughters Elsie Bertha and Dora, five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral at Schaetter's Funeral Home with Concordia and County Organization members singing. Interment followed his graveside service.
Mrs. Lena Jung Bierschwale was born September 11 1861 in Fredericksburg and died January 10 1944 at age 82. She married William Bierschwale on October 21 1884 who died February 16 1932. Surviving children include Max J Walter F Alfred Henry J and Concordia Bierschwate of Fredreicksburg Laura Hanus of Chillicothe Ohio Julia Krikorian of Holly Michigan and siblings Charlie Jung Jim Jung Bertha Mayer. Also surviving ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Interment was at Fredericksburg Catholic Cemetery after services at St Marys Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Pat Rogers and son visited his parents the Rogers family Sunday. Kerrville visitors Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nabers called on the J. S. Whitewood home. Alf Lehne and wife were in Fredericksburg on business Tuesday. Mrs. Allen Gibson visited A. C. Wendell’s home last week. Fred Whitewood Nttleson and John S. Whitewood were Harper visitors Monday. Gordon Harper of San Antonio spent the weekend with Mrs. Harper and children. George Duderstadt and family were visited by their son Douglas Duderstadt Sunday. Henry Markworth is building a concrete tank on the Victor Marshall ranch this week.
On Sunday January 16 masses are offered at 9 and 10 30 a m with Sunday School and Sodality meeting after the second Mass Deanery meeting of the Men at St Marys Church Fredericksburg at 4 p m Father Emmett Kolodzle of Boerne will lead services while Father Ledwig the local substitute pastor is in Boerne The notice invites Catholics to attend any services and mentions a German language service at 11 00 a m on the third Sunday the only service that month at 11 00 a m Divine Worship and Bible Class precede the German service with an open invitation to worship
The church lists preaching at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. with no night services and Sunday School at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend all services. Pastor J. H. Meredith signs the notice. Address: 612 Sidney Baker St., Kerrville.

The church announces new times for night and afternoon services shifting to 2 30 PM. Sunday school starts 10 15 AM with preaching at 11 15 AM and 2 30 PM. Lunch will be served after the morning service. All are cordially invited to attend all services. Bring lunch if you can, but food will be provided for everyone.
