Robert P. Owen was born in Hays County on March 23, 1872 and died at home in Loyal Valley on December 26, 1943 at age 71 years 9 months 3 days. He married Amy Allen and their union produced ten children, six surviving along with 20 grandchildren. Rev. L H Billings conducted funeral services on December 27 and burial followed in Loyal Valley Cemetery.

William L. Weirich born December 19 1854 in Fredericksburg died January 1944 at 89. He lived on a Live Oak farm his whole life. He directed the Ger mania singing club for 42 years and helped found the County Singing organization. He married Theresa Kleck on January 10 1885. Survived by four sons Arthur Max Arwin Wilhelm Richard three daughters Elsie Bertha and Dora, five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral at Schaetter's Funeral Home with Concordia and County Organization members singing. Interment followed his graveside service.

Mrs. Lena Jung Bierschwale was born September 11 1861 in Fredericksburg and died January 10 1944 at age 82. She married William Bierschwale on October 21 1884 who died February 16 1932. Surviving children include Max J Walter F Alfred Henry J and Concordia Bierschwate of Fredreicksburg Laura Hanus of Chillicothe Ohio Julia Krikorian of Holly Michigan and siblings Charlie Jung Jim Jung Bertha Mayer. Also surviving ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Interment was at Fredericksburg Catholic Cemetery after services at St Marys Church.
