Mix of Business and Necessity in a Counterfeiting Tale
A fragmentary humorous piece recounts a man in a Latin American country fleeing poverty who prints counterfeit twenty dollar bills. He attempts to use the fake money for small scale transactions, encountering a shopkeeper who accepts the bills, and a flow of other odd, largely nonsensical vignettes involving diplomacy, animals, and misadventures with money and employment. The chaotic text blends jokes and surreal scenes with scant coherent narrative or identifiable人物.
