The Friendship Church announces Christmas Day services with Sunday School at 10 00 am Worship at 11 00 am and Evening Worship at 3 00 pm. Brotherhood meets first and third Wednesday at 7 30 pm. Everyone is welcome.
The notice lists mass times for December 24 and 31 at St Anthony's Catholic Church Pastor A A Gitler. It notes First Mass at midnight and additional masses at 8:00 and 9:30. It invites attendance and includes Sunday School at 10:00 A M and Morning Worship at 11:00 A M with Women’s Association meetings on the third Wednesday at 8:00 P M.
Dr. Horace M. King leads 8 45 a m Congregational Worship Christmas Message. Official Board meets first Tuesday monthly at 7 00 p m. Harper Circle of Woman's Society of Christian Service gathers 2 30 p m.

JUNCTION J A Barker 75 died at 4 25 p m Sunday about 13 miles north of here in his car on U S 83 likely from a heart attack. Justice of the Peace ruled natural death. His car struck an embankment as it neared Junction. Burial followed at Junction Cemetery. Born March 6 1892 in Leon County he was married.
A 1910 marriage united Laura Shelby Posey and a Junction native who later owned a service station and a wholesale grocer business in Junction. They moved to Kimble County in 1936 and he died in 1966. Survivors include five sons Clove James Joe and Billy Bob Barker all of Junction and Leon Barker of Marfa. one daughter Mrs. Fred Phillips of Junction. 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
