The Korea presses were destroyed and the Korea Bible Society now publishes scriptures in Korean. In Tokyo London and New York copies of the Korean Bible with plates lost in Seoul have been photographed and will be reproduced by offset. Dr Ronald Bridges of Sanford Maine and Berkeley California has been elected twelfth president of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions in Boston. The 44 year old elect holds five doctorates and is the fifth layman to lead this 141 year old Congregational missionary body.
