License plates set for 1945 Texas registration year
Texas Highway Department announces 1945 license plates will be issued April 1 with a single plate per vehicle. Plates measure 12 by 6 inches, yellow with black numerals, and feature a new numbering system using letters and four digits. Passenger plates read Texas 45 and trucks include Truck or Farm identifications. License fees remain unchanged from last year.
