Tires and Car Radio Stolen in Two Thefts Near Grobe
Two thefts were reported to Sheriff Alfred Klaerner Sunday morning. Eddie Grobe found his Plymouth missing the car radio, spare tire and wheel, and one rear tire and wheel after parking on Pecan Street. He slept nearby and was unaware of the robbery, which occurred after his Saturday night return. A second theft involved Chas Woerner's car, parked about a block away, with its tires tinkered with during the night. Ed A. Loth of Fredericksburg was in Harper on business Wednesday.
