Bluerdon's Flight and Church Aid in War Era
Leopold Bluerdon born to a Jewish family in Germany years ago becomes a refugee. He built a pepper factory, faced Nazi persecution, fled via Russia to Shanghai, helped Protestant refugees, and is now moving to America with Lutheran resettlement aid. A broad church mission aimed at evangelism in military camps follows, led by national church bodies and chaplains to promote global peace and relief through CROP aid and food shipments to European nations.
