New Deputy County Clerk Named
Miss Eugenia Ann Crenwelge is appointed deputy county clerk effective immediately, replacing Miss Marion Rode who resigned. Rode plans a move to Waco after a brief home period in Cherry Springs. Canada remains the leading nickel producer with 81 percent of world output in 1955, Cuba 7 percent, New Caledonia 5 percent, Japan 3 percent, the United States 2 percent, and others 2 percent. A water main break Friday morning caused no major disruption, and the city saw a surge in overdue payments to the water company that day.
