Elgin Ellebracht Dies After Tragic Farmyard Fall
Elgin Ellebracht, 75, a prominent Gillespie County farmer from the Marshall Springs Llano Road area, died Monday night after a fall from a ladder tied to a utility pole where he had stringed electric wiring. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Hill Country Memorial Hospital. Deputy Sheriffs Nehr and Grobe and son-in-law Vernon Fluitt reported the incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. and involved Mrs. Ellebracht at the family home.
