San Benito teachers graduate from Harvard in 2016

Franklin Delano Roosevelt and John F Kennedy did it, and Barack Obama did it too. This week San Benito High teachers Ricardo Delgado and Marvelia Balboa join a seven member pioneer cohort graduating from Harvard in Cambridge. Steven Spielberg will speak at the commencement. Principal Henry Sanchez praises the duo for inspiring students toward college. The teachers pursue a Math Collaborative master’s degree via Harvard Extension School and the Texas Graduate Center, part of the Texas Valley Communities Foundation, with distance learning from the Texas Oaks Center and telepresence access to Harvard professors.
