Recycling Center to reopen at same site after fire
Harlan Kiwanis Club will restart its recycling center next weekend at the former 11 year old pole building site damaged by a December fire. Poles went up Jan 20 and the structure nearly finished late last week. Costs were about 4300 dollars with bridge planking to be added. papers expected to be accepted starting Feb 1. Two local boys face second degree arson charges related to the blaze. The center will hold its ongoing newspaper drives with no fixed hours.
