State charged Enoch Larson with carnal driving and manslaughter plus intoxication while operating a vehicle. The intoxication count was dismissed. Trial on the other charges concluded with a not guilty verdict. The suit was not pressed by Mrs. Smith’s heirs. An unrelated item notes a single marriage license and local fiscal details.
The Attorney General reports no voter status distinction for jury duty. Every citizen is liable regardless of voting, with jury exemptions allowed for health and duties. the letter aims to remove the belief that voting affects jury service.
Federal government shipped 20 cans of fish from the hatcheries at Dubuque and dumped them into Pirie Lake on Tuesday this week.
