Twenty-First Annual Federation Meet in New Providence
The Hardin County Federation of Women's Clubs held its twenty first annual meeting at New Providence with 147 out of town attendees and 40 local delegates, opening in Friends Church with a program led by Miss Jonie Tansey and presided by Mrs L K Reece. A welcome address by Mrs Chas D Wood closed with a Holmesian parody, as members welcomed visiting clubwomen and celebrated the convention in an ornate auditorium setting.
