Mrs. B C Brooks fell on church steps Thursday and broke her leg below the hip. Noel Flaherty rushed her to Marshalltown hospital for X rays and observation. She will stay for some time as daughter N E Flaherty stays with her. Numerous local residents and relatives attended the incident and surrounding activities.
Undertaking and funeral directing services are noted along with visits by Clint and Clarence Thompsons. Weddings occur as Mr Karl Montz and Miss Opal Long tied yesterday in Hampton. Various residents from Cedar Falls Nevada and Marshalltown visit friends, with church notes detailing Bible School events and plans for picnics and group meetings.
