Man Killed by Rock Island Train Near Iowa Falls
Herman Wood, about 40, died from injuries after his car was struck by a Rock Island passenger train near the Iowa Falls north city limits while returning home from the Armour plant. He left Estherville early, was said to have blamed himself for not seeing the approaching train, and died of internal hemorrhage hours later. New Postal Rates July 1 Take Effect
