Kendall Says Nothin Doin Politically Noted Ex Governor Kendall
Ex Governor N E Kendall spoke in Centerville last Thursday saying he is not involved in politics now. He cited 200 letters about a United States Senatorship but will not answer, and he travels to view farm lands while recovering health from a world tour. Kendall likened Japanese rivals to aggressive business competitors and praised Italian courtesy and Osaka growth, planning a return to Rome this winter. He contrasted Chinese and Japanese women and noted Japan’s metropolitan cities and the influence of art on manners. He dismissed politics as the farthest thought and commented on health improvements since his trip.
